How to get there: Many buses (including Citi 3) go along Newmarket Rd, and there is parking just in front of the meeting point, and also in the nearby Grafton Centre.

Это была уже вторая экскурсия из серии прогулок с Татьяной по не самым исхоженным тропам Кембриджа, в которой я принимал участие. На этом кольцевом маршруте по району Барнуэлл буквально на каждом шагу нам встречались любопытные достопримечательности, о существовании которых иногда и не подозреваешь, даже если ездишь мимо на велосипеде 5 лет подряд. Более того, выяснилось, что даже надписи на памятных досках иногда составляются таким образом, что со 100%-ной вероятностью случайный прохожий не поймет, о чем идет речь. Но истории, расказанные Татьяной об истории многовековых зданий, концепциях современного уличного искусства и удивительных людях прошлого, бродивших теми же тропами, проясняют скрытое повседневностью, потрясают воображение, заставляют внимательнее относиться к окружающему пространству и перерывать интернет в поисках еще более подробной информации. Экскурсия оставила восторженное впечатление, в том числе благодаря душевной компании заинтересованных людей и солнечной погоде. Большое спасибо Татьяне, и жду новых авторских маршрутов из этой серии!
