Treasure Hunt in Cambridge is offered in two languages, English or Russian, so if you know at least one of the two you are welcome to take part! It is a team contest and is designed for adults, but children are also wlecome. Fun, interactive, educational and entertaining! Please sign up in advance by clicking here.
This event is organised in support of the Cambridge Russian-Speaking Society (CamRuSS) and is run in collaboration with it.
Starting and finishing point: Princess Diana’s Rose Garden on Christ’s Pieces, behind the central bus station.
Duration: approximately 2 – 2.5 hours (including initial instructions and for the “hunt”, plus going through the answers at the end and applauding the winners).
The “treasures” are visual – they are sights in central Cambridge; you will need to spot them from photos, find them, and answer some short questions. The idea is NOT to check your knowledge of Cambridge but to have fun in pleasant company, enjoy the scenery, and possibly learn a few interesting facts. Hence, please bring along your smartphones – you will be allowed to use Google!
Teams of 4 people. You may form and book your own team or you can sign up as an individual and we can match you eith other people. A great way to make new friends!
Fee: Free for CamRuSS members; adults – £3; family £5 (two adults and children under 16 y.o.). Please pay with cash at the event.
PLEASE NOTE: The photos in the collage above are for illustration only – we are not revealing the actual route or questions!
