We shall only get a glimpse of medical advances at Cambridge. It’s a long, colourful, and intriguing saga. Antibiotics, blood, cloning, and DNA are only four of many, many chapters….
Cambridge alumni and Cambridge scientists have had a hand in many important discoveries, some of which paved the way to better drugs, more effective treatment, and ultimately saved or improved many lives. We shall walk around the city, admire the magnificent architecture, visit a free college, and talk, among other things, about the achievements of biology and medicine.
